Well, I am currently doing one podcast (Theguyspodcast.com) and looking to setup another one (praxispodcast.com) And now I am wondering with the advent of the iPhone and Apple TV working much better with video podcasts, I am wondering if I could figure out a way t transition into video podcasting through the audio one we are doing now. And if my Macbook Pro could handle it. I would love to see the marketing aspects of it all, and any business models for getting sponsors to a podcast...if there is a magic number of listeners you might need before it even become viable or marketable. Also, I think it is a great idea to sort podcast attendees into similar groupings and allow them all to network and educate each other... i.e. an unconference. Thanks and I hope to be on Talkshoe soon. I will not be able to make it to the Cincinnati meet-up (I live in northern KY) because of another appointment that day, but yall have fun! It was really, REALLY good but a few things I'd change: * I thought it would be cool and a money-maker to have t-shirts on CafePress. Plus they asked for donations in advance and I thought I might be able to make them there but couldn't. Door prizes were fun. * They had probably some friends who do stand-up comedy on their podcast 'perform' - I'm there to learn and network, not be entertained * Joseph Jaffe and CC Chapman were great keynote speakers. Cincinnati's own Cliff Ravenscraft started the day off with a passionate, inspiring session. (Definitely recommend him!) * I'd love an open session where everyone can share things they've learned since they started their podcast - so we can all learn from each other. * They talked mics, editing, video and technology, etc. I'd like to have different formats covered like interviews (recording them), what podcast formats are most popular, more marketing/traffic-generating tips. * Lastly, only white male speakers. Being a female podcaster and blogger, I'd like to have some diversity for different viewpoints. Thanks - looking forward to PodCamp Ohio!
