Venue Location Announcement

Written by angelo on December 5, 2007 – 5:07 pm -

I am pleased to announce that PodCamp Ohio will be held at ITT Technical Institute in Hilliard, Ohio on June 28, 2008.

Out of all of the locations available, this location is the most ideal for Ohio’s PodCamp. Based on the needs expressed at the first meeting and meet-up, this location gives us the ability to implement many, if not all, of the ideas everyone had.

ITT Technical Institute, Hilliard, OH web site: http://www.itt-tech.edu/campus/school.cfm?lloc_num=22

Our next tasks will include obtaining event insurance, planning a budget for the activities and setting sponsorship levels.

PodCamp AZ – A huge inspiration for PodCamp Ohio

Written by angelo on November 6, 2007 – 11:05 am -

I got to attend PodCamp Arizona this past weekend. Michelle and Brent Spore managed an excellent PodCamp. Every detail was addressed well. The event was a huge inspiration for the coming PodCamp Ohio.

I am now looking for a venue to support the event here in the Central Ohio area. I now have a better idea what type of facility should be used for the event as well as the resources required.

If you are interested in assisting with PodCamp Ohio or have suggestions, please send me an E-mail (angelo at podcampohio.com).
