Spending a couple days in Columbus?
We don’t want you to get the idea that there’s nothing to do in Columbus. The podcamp event isn’t during football or hockey season, but it does coincide with ComFest, a very special community event that takes place every year in Columbus and would be a great addition to your trip if you have the time. There is a great write-up on what ComFest is all about on their website.
Podcamp Ohio is also the same weekend as Columbus Pride Festival, which is described by many as the best pride event in Ohio. If you’d like to support the GLBTQ community and have the time while you’re in Columbus, feel free to stop by that event as well.
For other information on Columbus and other things to do such as the Columbus Zoo, Cosi science museum and much more, check out Experience Columbus for more information.
Spending a few days in Ohio?
Ohio has something for everyone, except those looking for an ocean of course! If roller coasters are your bag, then you’re in luck because Columbus is within 2 hours of both Cedar Point and Kings Island. If you’re a history buff, check out the many museums peppered throughout the state such as the Wright Patterson Air Force Museum in Dayton, Football Hall of Fame in Canton, or the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland.
Visit the Discover Ohio web site for more information.
